Miniature food

I have been enjoying working on my polymer clay miniature food projects. I got a lot of inspiration from the internet. Especially those miniature food blogs from Japan! Even though I do not know how to read Japanese lol. I also got some books when I was back to Hong Kong last November :

These are miniature food art made of air-dry clay. Although it is not about polymer clay I would still recommend these books! 2 of them are in Japanese and 1 of it is in Chinese. Like I said I do not read Japanese, but the pictures in there teach you to work on it step by step. It is very clear and some of it is very simple. I am sure anyone could at least follow some of it in there to make something.

Other than tutorials, they also have talked about different products you could have worked with when you do your projects. Such as different pieces of findings, paints, molds, glues, tools.... etc. In the coming blog posts I will share some more about those in depth.

Here are some of the pictures that I was working on the painting process~

Acrylic paint is easy to use and the color range is so broad! Usually I do not need to mix to get the right color. Also it is so easy to get in any craft store :)

Here are some of the finished products in case you are wondering lol :

They are already available in our Etsy store, please go check them out if you like them~!
